WTF Porn Parodies

Here at Popcorn Whiskey we sometimes have to ask ourselves WTF where they thinking?    Today we are looking at porn parodies.   With the internet age, we don’t even understand why people pay for this stuff, but clearly they do.   But this is not a post bashing porn, but rather some really bad porn parodies.   A porn parody keeps in the theme of a popular pop culture event.  It could be a movie, TV show, band, or even a political scandal.   These parodies have been popular in the porn industry with obvious parodies of movies like Star Wars and Batman.   Parks and Recreation even made a reference to the porn parodies and made a fake one for their show.  Check it out  below.

Left Behind 2014

Nicolas Cage will soon piss off Christians with bad acting

Nicolas Cage will play the lead in the reboot of Left Behind, a Christian fictional novel based on the rapture. In the original smaller budget films, Kirk Cameron played the lead role. The film has an October 3, 2014 release date. While filming started last August, we feel that the release of Left Behind has hopes that HBO’s rapture show the Leftovers will create a buzz around the rapture. Instead though, we have a feeling that Left Behind will have the feel of a copy cat, which will backfire on the film. We also have zero faith that Nicolas Cage will do the character any justice, and is simply picking projects based on whoever can pay him the quickest. While Christians are known for love, they get pissed off when you ruin something they love on the Big Screen,I.E. Noah.  Check out the trailer below.

Top 10 Disney Films

Disney has been making full length animated films since 1937 with Snow White. Here at Popcorn Whiskey we looked to rank the all time top ten best animated Disney films. We left out the Pixar films and looked at the following for guidelines: box office and DVD sales, critical reviews, cultural importance, story telling, music, and animation. Here are our top 10 Disney films.

jungle book   10.    The Jungle Book

85% on Rotten Tomatoes

Mowgli, bro’s before h…. aw forget. The Jungle Book starts the list of a greatest Disney animated films of all time thanks to the music, coming of age story of a boy raised by wolves. With great villains like Kaa, King Louie, and Shere Khan, the Jungle Book kept you wondering if Mowgli was ever going to make it out safe. I think every kid wanted Baloo to be their best friend and learn how to enjoy the Bare Necessities. The Jungle Book happens to also be the last animated film that Walt Disney had a personal touch on, before his death in 1966. The Bare Necessities and I Want to be Like You are two of Disney’s most popular songs and are just good old fun. In the end, Mowgli has to decide if he should stay in the jungle or go to the man village and of course he see’s a pretty girl (how old is he?) and decides that he should be with the humans. (more…)

The final goodbye for the Original X-Men Actors

X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinberg sat down with the Hollywood Reporter and talked Days of Fututre Days as well as the next X-Men film he is working on.   Here are a few highlights of the interview

Did you approach the ending with the idea that we might see more of the original cast in future films?

We approached it as a final goodbye for the original actors. But to be totally candid, that’s the way I approached X-Men: The Last Stand. If you talked to me in 2006 and said, “Do you think we’ll ever see Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier again? Do you think we’ll see Ian and Halle and Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore back on (more…)

Comedy Movies Drinking Game

We call this game Jokers Wild. Play this game every time you watch a comedy. To play the game, set a timer to go off every 20 minutes. Every 20 minutes draw 2 cards from the deck. Place a card face down. The lowest card must take a shot, if there is a tie, they both have to take a shot. If a joker is place, everyone but the joker has to take a shot. And for the drink along, take a drink every time.

Why Anna Paquin/Rougue’s Fight Scene Got cut from X-Men Days of Future Past

Simon Kinberg, writer for X-Men Days of Future Past and the upcoming X-Men Apocalypses gave an amazing interview with the Daily Beast.    In the interview Kinberg was asked about the Rogue fight scene that was cut from the Days of Future Past.

Were there any big scenes that got cut? I heard a big action sequence with Anna Paquin/Rogue did.

The Rogue/Anna Paquin scene was by far the biggest cut we made, and that was more my fault than anything. When I was crafting the script, I wanted to create a (more…)

X-Men Days of Future Past

X-Men Days of Future Past…Oh Hell Yeah

X-Men Days of Future Past is everything you want in a superhero movie…and actually just any film in general, and that’s master story telling. Being one of the most anticipated movies of 2014, I don’t think even the biggest internet trolls will have a lot of bad things to say about the newest installment in the X-Men universe.

In a a nutshell, Wolverine must travel back in time in order to save mutants and mankind alike from destruction. In order to do this, he must unite Professor X and Magneto and stop Mystique from assassinating the creator of the Setinels. Just like Eminem says, Wolverine only has one shot to get it right, or everyone he knows and cares for will meet a cruel death. (more…)
